Lines has been appointed by your Overseas Mover to assist
the customs clearance and delivery of your household goods
shipment to the UK or EEC. |

Our aim is to customs clear and deliver your household goods shipment
in accordance with your preferred timescale, and provide you with
an efficient and professional service. However delays due to customs
clearance and examinations do occasionally occur and are totally
out of our control.
Unless otherwise agreed with your Overseas Mover the service you
can expect to receive from European Van Lines is detailed below.
We do however receive instructions from Overseas Movers to provide
additional services from time to time. If you are unsure on any
point please contact us and we will be pleased to assist you.
EUROPEAN VAN LINES IMPORT SERVICE:

Provide UK Customs forms if necessary |
• |
Submit all documentation to Customs for clearance |
• |
Collection of your shipment from the Port/Airport |
• |
Delivery of your household goods shipment to your UK/EEC
residence |
• |
Unload delivery vehicle/container, place all items into
residence |
• |
Unpack and place items onto nearest surface |
• |
Removal of waste packing materials (on day of delivery
only) |
NOTES:
• |
Delivery is paid to ground and 1st floor only,
and to normal access residences, normal access is considered
to be vehicle parking within 15metres of delivery. |
• |
Your agent will specify a delivery County; deliveries to
other areas may incur additional charges. |
• |
Storage and re-delivery charges are not normally included
in our fees to your overseas agent, if you are unlikely to
be able to take delivery on clearance of your goods please
inform us immediately. |
• |
It is your responsibility to arrange any parking suspensions
or reservations with your local council. |
• |
Weekend and out of hours deliveries will normally incur
extra charges |
• |
Owner packed goods/boxes and baggage shipments will not
be unpacked |

We will set up normal divan beds, but not wooden self-assembly
beds or similar flat packed furniture. |

Security handling charges are not usually included in our
fees to your agent and will be invoiced to you prior to delivery |
• |
Any Duties, Taxes, Storage, Dock rents and demurrage charges
if levied will need to be paid prior to delivery of your household
goods. |

Bringing

Motor
Vehicles, Motor Cycles, - a completed and signed UK Customs Form
C104A
Plus proof that you have owned and used the vehicle for 6 months
or longer – i.e. overseas insurance papers
Inherited
Goods Shipment – A completed and signed UK Customs Form C1421
All Shipments - A completed Delivery Questionnaire.
The above forms can be downloaded as PDF files, printed off, completed
and returned to us. We need to have an original completed customsform
to present to customs, fax copies are not acceptable.

goods, we can store them at our fully containerised storage
warehouse.

Removal Service – If you are moving to temporary
