We can ship your vehicle anywhere! However please bear in mind that you may be liable to pay import duties once your vehicle has arrived at the destination port. Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure you are fully conversant with the import regulations and documentary requirements in the Country of destination.

Vehicles will be shipped by one of the following methods:

RORO - By far the cheapest method of shipping cars is by Ro-Ro vessels.
These are purpose built vessels designed purely for the shipment of cars. If you can drive it, we can ship it.

These vessels also carry non motorised vehicles like boats on trailers
or non roadworthy vehicles like heavy plant and machinery on steel
tracks. From dump trucks to steamrollers, whatever your requirements,
European Van Lines Car Shipping department can help.

On RoRo vessels all cargo is shipped under deck. Secured in the hold, wind and water tight. Cars are driven on at the departure port, invariably Southampton, Felixstowe, or Tilbury, and driven of at your destination port.

We can arrange collection of your car from your door by plated driver or car transporter. We can also arrange for you to deliver your car direct to the port yourself.

Container Shipping - In the absence of any Ro-Ro services your vehicle will have to be loaded direct into a 20ft steel shipping container, a 40ft container if you are shipping more than one, or you are shipping with your personal and household effects.

Great care must be taken in securing your vehicle into the container.
Cars must be secured to the flooring rings of the container by ratchet straps and the wheels must be locked into position by wooden chocks.

If you are shipping overseas with your household and personal effects a wooden bulkhead will be built across the container to separate the car and effects.

We can arrange for cars to be loaded into containers at our warehouse by ramp, or we can arrange for vehicles to be loaded into containers nearer at your residence.
